My Art Story
Enthusiastic Artist of the Wisdom Discount Age
I decided to learn to draw in January of 2024. I had been bowling on the 10th place team in a 10 team league for years and realized I was never going to be a good bowler or a good loser. I wanted to learn to draw and filled that weekday time with art classes. Polly Jackson, UNM Continuing Ed art instructor, told me I could learn to draw and that I already had my own style. She was right! Her classes set me on this path.
I have embraced pastel painting. I paint the photographs I take at home and when I travel.
It is a beautiful world. I want to paint pieces of it to celebrate.
